We are pleased to announce the release of version 2.2. This is an important update focused on enhancing the security, stability, and overall code quality of the plugin to ensure it meets the highest standards for our users and the WordPress community.

🛡️ Security Enhancements

  • Hardened Public Search Form: We’ve implemented a nonce verification on the front-end certificate search form to protect your site from automated attacks by ensuring all requests are legitimate.
  • Improved Data Sanitization: The process for adding new cards in the admin dashboard has been strengthened with enhanced data sanitization protocols, ensuring all information saved to your database is clean and secure.

⚙️ Code Quality & Stability

  • Conflict Prevention Overhaul: To guarantee seamless compatibility, we have standardized all internal function and code prefixes to a unique gcsys_ format, significantly reducing the risk of conflicts.
  • WordPress.org Compliance: The codebase has been refactored to better align with the latest WordPress.org coding standards, addressing potential false positives flagged by automated code scanners.
