I tore into HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and eventually mastered complex hosting infrastructures and custom WordPress architecture. My technical roots go incredibly deep, stretching back to hardware management at RadioShack, which gave me a foundational understanding of how systems physically connect and communicate.
The modern web development industry is plagued by shortcuts. Agencies build fragile, AI-generated sites and then try to sell you SEO and security as monthly add-ons. To me, SEO was never an extra service. It is a structural requirement that must be built correctly from the first line of code. Whether I am building a custom conversion engine for a business here in Poughkeepsie or setting up a secure e-commerce platform for a national client, the goal is always the same. Outside of the code editor, my life in the Hudson Valley is anchored by my wife and our five sons. The boys are already following suit, writing their own scripts, designing stories, and managing servers. We keep our Southern Italian traditions alive in the kitchen, and I apply that same respect for authenticity and craftsmanship to my work. I do not do digital guesswork. I build things that last.

First Line Of Code
1992: The IBM PCjr
It all started with an old IBM PCjr. I was sitting in front of that heavy monitor, typing out my very first lines of BASIC. Back then, I wasn’t thinking about a digital career or a lifelong journey. I was just fascinated by the fact that typing specific words made the machine actually do things.
That curiosity quickly turned into writing QBasic on Windows 3.1, and eventually hacking away on Windows 95. Those early years didn’t just teach me how to type commands. They completely wired my brain for raw syntax, structural logic, and problem-solving. It is the exact same mechanical mindset I use to engineer modern web applications today. That was the spark that started everything.
Discovering the World Wide Web
By 1996, I was 14 years old and diving headfirst into raw HTML. I wasn’t running a business or building things for clients yet. I was just a kid taking apart code to figure out how websites were actually put together. It was pure curiosity and a whole lot of trial and error. That early, hands-on obsession with breaking things and figuring out how to fix them is where I built the technical foundation I still rely on today.
Learning the Reality of Local Business
While I was constantly building sites and teaching myself new tech in the background, I also spent nearly ten years working as a front-end manager for a small local business. Spending that much time on the floor, especially in the restaurant industry, gave me a massive reality check. I saw exactly what local owners struggle with every single day just to survive in a competitive market.
Today, that experience dictates how I operate. When I design a website or map out an SEO strategy for a Hudson Valley client, I am not just looking at the code. I know the actual daily grind these business owners face, and I engineer digital tools that are meant to solve their real problems, not just look pretty on a screen.
Launching a Global Freelance company.
Around 2012, I jumped onto platforms like Fiverr to start taking on freelance development work. I knocked out projects for over twenty different clients and held a perfect 5-star rating the entire time. It was an absolute bootcamp for learning how to properly scope a project, talk to a client, and ship code quickly.
Eventually, the platforms started changing their rules and algorithms. I realized pretty quickly that I needed to own my client relationships directly instead of renting them from a third party. I walked away from the gig sites, but that era proved one thing for sure. I could build and deliver solid web and app projects for anyone in the world.
Expanding Digital Horizons: Apps & Engines
Around 2016, I pushed my focus way past standard web development. I went deep into C#, Visual Basic, and Unreal Engine. I started writing actual desktop software and ended up building dozens of applications in a very short window of time. The best part is that a lot of those programs are still actively running on company machines today. Getting my hands dirty in these different languages proved I wasn’t just a web developer. I could engineer custom software from the ground up.
Forging Local Partnerships & Creating Digital Experiences
Around 2018, I made a deliberate shift. I stopped worrying about global freelancing and put my focus entirely on businesses right here in the Hudson Valley. Relying purely on word of mouth, I started building websites and applications for local shops. A lot of those initial contacts are still my clients today.
