The site was not fully mine, so the work had to be careful, surgical, and defensible.
Bubblez was a takeover and refinement project, not a full rebuild. The existing setup needed speed improvements, visual upgrades, operational fixes, and safer order notification flow.
During the work, I discovered a malicious or deliberately harmful 60-second sleep timer that could make the site appear broken or unusably slow. Rather than blindly rewriting everything, the focus was to stabilize, improve, and protect the owner from being trapped by unnecessary maintenance pressure.
- Order visibility upgradeA lightweight helper system was created to send order data to the owner through Verizon email-to-text alerts while leaving original emails intact.
- Speed and behavior cleanupThe project focused on removing avoidable friction and improving the experience without breaking existing payment or order logic.
- Visual polishGraphics, moving parts, menu structure, and bubble-style header elements were rebuilt or refined to make the site feel more modern.

This project was about improving the site while respecting the fact that the full codebase was inherited and access was limited.
